I've been making videos for a while now, mostly computer based collage but I recently started exploring the depth that TV & VHS experiments have to offer. I found a box of old tapes on the side of the street the other day... I popped one in the VCR and the image was great! A weird, glitchy fuzz due to water damage and old age. I used those visuals for the Misner Space & Sundrips bonus DVD I released. Otherwise, when I just feel like fooling around, I find cheap B movies and edit the best parts. I also like using dancers and cosmic color / abstract shape stuff. Just trying to stay original with a minimal approach. I'm currently working on a VHS for Hooker Vision and I collaborated on a soundtrack & video project for a split DVD on Sacred Phrases. The next main project will be a compilation DVD from some of the earlier Moduli TV videos, released on Italian label AAVV.
