Nicole Brunel’s art is totally bitchin’, just liker her bands Puberty and Friendo. If you made it down to this month’s Market Collective in Calgary, you could have had the chance to take home one of the psychedelic wood paintings showcased below, and have it hanging above your fireplace as you read these words. Just in time for Christmas, Nicole also scribbled this gift card complete with ghetto booties, plus a sketch of Seizure Salad, two of my favourite Callhelligary bros. – Jesse Locke

Over the past few years, Nicole Brunel has risen up as a killer musician in bands such as Womb Baby, Puberty and her latest project Friendo. She first showed off her art skils with the packaging of personally drawn demos and various CD-Rs, and has now blossomed into quite the sketcher/painter/clothing designer.
